Medicines is about the idiotic law of patent pending the modern medicine industries work by. We can absolutely see the importance of patent pending in some cases but many companies use that very rule to artificially raise their prices. For some people it’s impossible to pay for certain pills because they simply cost too much. What’s even worse is insurance companies and pharmacies are also becoming more obedient to specific medicine producers. It’s another sad story of human wealth against corporate order. In other words it seems it’s more important to keep the firms economy flourishing than saving human lives.
