about

It seems to us humanity is always in a rush getting somewhere. While following those impulses we don’t think about the consequences and we forget to look around what our actions actually are causing. If we don’t pay attention to the impact we make on the environment there’s a big possibility we’ll eventually drown (literally) in our own mistakes. We think it’s important that people start caring about the choices we all make.

lyrics

Our system’s going wrong
We’re choosing paths we don’t belong
And it’s slipping through our hands as the thoughts pass by

Heading towards the cliffs
I guess we stopped seeing em
With guns blazing around our sinful ears

We chose the easy way
To neglect hell
But the water’s rising
In our heaven now
To drown our mistakes
Our proudest industries
Is this the best plot we could create?
The best plot we’ve erased

As systems overload
We’re chasing different roads
Instead of fixing all the problems we create

Fire away at will
Keep steady in the drill
Because they’ll fire you if you don’t follow close

Let’s drown our mistakes
Our proudest industries
Is this the best plot we could create?
The best plot we’ve erased

We turn our backs to the mighty sea – forget about the shouting
We close our eyes for the timid tide that foretells our drowning
Why the hell are we so proud? So proud of fucking what?

20 years from now
And I hope it’s nothing
20 years from now
I hope it’s nothing
But it’s better left in doubt
Than in state of apathy
I’d rather choose doubt
Than your act of apathy
